I don’t know about you but once we hit April it feels like we blink & it is summer. So buckle up…. we have 8 weeks until our recital!
I have been on my computer all morning working on the design for our recital t-shirt & program cover art, typing up the program, & trying to get the recital line up nailed down. I am close to being done with all of them….
phew. I will be sending out individual emails on most of these items as they come through but here is a list of what is coming our way.Reminder that tuition is due this week

April 7th – Good Friday – We will have classes & production practices on Good Friday.
April 10th – Summer dance registration begins
Our recital is the last day of our 2022-2023 season. I do summer camps to help keep your kids entertained during our short summer break.
Rather than a full class load like I have now I break classes up by age not style.
Classes are
4pm 3-5 year olds tap/ballet/tumble
5pm 6-9 year olds ballet, jazz, contemporary
6pm 10 & up ballet, jazz, contemporary
Camps are
Camp A is Mon, Tues, Wed
May 29th- 31st
Camp B* is Mon, Tues, Thurs*
June 19th-22nd
Camp C is Mon, Tues, Wed
July 10th -12th
Camp each camp is $50 there is a $15 fee due to hold your dancers spot. Below is the link to register your dancer for summer camps.

April 22 – Recital T-shirt orders due
Recital t- shirts are a fun way to commemorate each recital. They are one of my treasures from my childhood. I still have so many of them. Recital t-shirts are $25 each. If you want your shirt personalized with your dancer’s name on the sleeve or dance mom/dad on the back it is $27.

May 10th recital fee is due
the recital fee is $35 per dancer. I don’t charge tickets to get into the recital. I just charge a fee to participate. This way you can invite whomever you would like to watch your dancer. We had our biggest turn out at our 2022 Christmas recital. We were in the ballpark of 500 people. Bring your friends & family to support your dancers. It’s truly magical!
May 26th – Tech Rehearsal
is held at Leading Edge Academy located at 18700 N Porter Rd. Maricopa, AZ 85138 On Friday night it is regular dance wear no costumes. We will be practicing from 5-7pm. Once your dancer is finished you are free to leave. I will have a show line up for you in May.
May 27th – Pictures, dress rehearsal & recital This
is the day we are working towards. We will be doing pictures the morning of the recital at Leading Edge Academy. I will have a picture schedule for you in May. We will take pictures & then move to practice on stage in costume 1 dance at a time. Then we will have a break for lunch & come back for the recital. It’s a busy day but it is well planned. I will have a full breakdown of the day for you closer to the recital.
