Hi All!

Here we are in March & I am here for it!! Not only is March my birthday month, but we also get warmer weather (🤞)& spring break. Woo hoo!

We are almost done learning choreography in all of our classes! Some classes will finish this week others will be done next week. It is a challenge for all of us but we rise to the occasion. Once we finish we can perfect each dance & continue working on technique.

Here are a few dates to keep in mind this month:

March 6th-10th costume try on
March 10th production costume money is due
March 13th-17th spring break NO DANCE

May 10th recital fee is due
May 26th tech rehearsal
May 27th Pictures, dress rehearsal, & recital.

March 6th-10th class costume try on Costumes have started coming in! It’s like Christmas around here. I am starting to organize them so we can try them on next week. Once all the pieces are here I will be sending them home. Parents I will have you sign out costumes when they are ready to go home.

March 10th production costume money is due. Any of my dancers 6 & up wanting to participate in production dances need to have the extra costume fee
paid. If you have questions about your dancer participating in these dances please reach out.

Spring break March 13th-17th we won’t be dancing this week. Enjoy time off of school with your kids!

Production practice March 24th: starting on the 24th we have practices every Friday from 6-8pm. Please drop your dancers off. Parents aren’t able to watch. At Christmas our production groups were the biggest yet. Trying to squeeze 40 dancers upstairs left no room for parents to hang out & watch. At the beginning I was using upstairs & my living room to accommodate all the learning. I even kicked my kids out of the house. It was amazing!

April 17th Summer camp registration begins Summer camps are such a great way to give your dancer a taste of what all the styles are like. We will have 3 different dates for camps to accommodate Summer travel. Each camp will be 3 days & $50. There is a $15 registration fee due at sign up to save your dancers space. There will be an email with a link to sign your dancer up. More info on dates & times coming in April.

May 10th recital fee is due the recital fee is $35 per dancer. I don’t charge tickets to get into the recital. I just charge a fee to participate. This way you can invite who ever you would like to watch your dancer. We had our biggest turn out at our 2022 Christmas recital. We were in the ballpark of 500 people 😲 Bring your friends & family to support your dancers. It’s truly magical.

May 26th tech rehearsal is held at Leading Edge Academy located at 18700 N Porter Rd. Maricopa, AZ 85138 On Friday night it is regular dance wear no costumes. We will be practicing from 5-7pm. Once your dancer is finished you are free to leave. I will have a show line up for you in May.

May 27th Pictures, dress rehearsal, & recital. This is the day we are working towards. We will be doing pictures the morning of the recital at Leading Edge Academy. I will have a picture schedule for you in May. We will take pictures & then move to practice on stage in costume 1 dance at a time. Then we will have a break for lunch & come back for the recital. It’s a busy day but it is well planned. I will have a full break down of the day for you closer to the recital.
