September 2022 newsletter

Hi ADL Fam!

Happy September! We have made it through the 1st month of dance. Your dancers are doing such an AMAZING job you should be so proud of them. Even my littlest of dancers have grown & found routine of class. Now we get to shake things up by adding choreography!

This coming week we will be starting our Christmas recital dances. We have 13 weeks until our show on December3rd (Yikes! I shouldn’t have counted them😳). They come so quickly this time of year. My hope is to get all of the class dances learned before October 14th. That way once all of the holiday festivities begin we are focused on cleaning up each dance not trying to retain new steps. Your dancers are already in leaning mode so they will pick it up quickly.

I have loved seeing all the shirts I created on all of the dancers coming into the studio! It was fun going from cutting vinyl to cutting music in preparation for our recital. It is soo fun to imagine all the cute costumes moving to the songs as I work through them. I can wait to see it all come together.

Just a reminder the costume money is due by September 10th for class costumes & October 10th for our production costumes. I have measured almost everyone for costumes but there are still a few I haven’t gotten to yet. If I haven’t measured your dancer please try to help me remember (I stuck a pay our note up to remind myself😉)


Lastly is the beginning of the month & a long weekend so please remember that tuition is due. If your dancers is in a Monday class we WILL be having class on Monday September 5th even though it is labor day.
