Hello ALD Families,
Happy August. I hope you all had a restful summer or that you found an opportunity to have an adventure.
This has been a hard email to write. I will not be starting classes at this time. I am sure many of you saw this coming. I hope to start again in person after Christmas. The uncertainty of the last several months has caused me to turn my focus to my children. They need my full attention now more than ever. I can see that the next semester will be full of transitions. My sweet Landon has autism as you are well aware & transitions are extremely difficult for him. This was a very difficult decision for me to make. Many of your children feel like my own children.
That being said if I was able to put together a show right now it would be centered around the song “Be A Light” by Thomas Rhett. This song spoke to me so very personally. The best way for me to communicate my feelings is through dance so I have created a dance to this song. I want to continue to be a light for those around me.

I would love more than anything for your dancer to learn this & for you to send a video of them dancing this to me. I will then put together a video of us dancing together while apart ❤.
